My favorite adult was my art teacher. Her name was Miss Hand and she treated me like an adopted daughter. She took me to all of the local art shows and we talked for years after I left elementary school until she retired two years ago.
7: Most embarrassing moment from your elementary school years?
I had earned a spot in the spelling bee when I was only in 4th grade. Most of the students in the spelling bee are in 5th grade, so it was a big deal. Well, it turns out I spelt the word “by” wrong in the first round and the whole school laughed at me. I can’t help that I thought they meant “bye.”
13: If you could have any pet in the world, illegal or not, what would you get?
Easy. I would get another Cocker Spaniel and name her Lady.
