I’m tired of girls saying stuff like “I love my body I dont care how fat I get, I will eat McDonalds all I want”To me they just sound ignorant because they are damaging their bodies by not getting exercise and having a high-fat diet. I mean yea its good to have high self-esteem, but do you really wanna have a heart-attack, or have to be wheeled around in a wheel chair because your own legs can’t support you?

Don’t ever set a deadline for your weight loss goals. It can backfire with disappointment, unhealthy habit relapses, weight gain, and negativity. The day has a time limit but becoming healthy does not have a deadline.

You’d be better off focusing on health for life. Living a healthy life will lead to weight loss. Just give it time. Don’t do this to get some guy/girl to like you or to be stick thin in the summer. You should do this for your own well-being and realize that this isn’t some quick fix. Be in it for the long run and you’ll definitely be happier for it.

While both losing weight and maintaining, most of my exercise came from power walks (60 minutes, 4+ miles) but those can get boring fast so to keep it interesting these are the things I did. I’d bring a family member or friend, end at my favorite coffee shop, make my halfway point a pretty beach view, try all different routes and track how many .01’s of a mile I could get into my 60 minutes. Nearly a year after I started I STILL love walking because I’ve found ways to keep it interesting!
